We are famous!
OMG, I just happened upon this video done my NBC! that speaks of Dunder Mifflin Infinity, what they did last year, and what the plans are for the future. Please take a look at the 3:18 mark of the video and you will see this very blog. WOW! I am so geeked about this. Thank you so much guys. As for blogging this season, I am hosting a pretty sweet premiere party. However, I'm not sure there will be WiFi at the location. If there is I will definitely blog with my old friend Natascia. I will also try to get photos and videos of said party on the blog. Thanks so much to all those who supported us, and I hope to see you back again this year.

I'm here
Sorry about the LiveBlog last week. I will try my best to be here for the next episode and I might even skip out on the last practice before my first football game of the season, so that I can try to somehow work a LiveBlog/Finale party. I will definitely not miss the finale, I just may not have a party. Natascia did a great job solo last week and I don't have much to add except that I really enjoyed the episode. Now I'd like to talk about the final 2 episodes of the season.
Episode #65 "Job Fair"
Typical 2 part plot: 1) Michael tries to find an intern at a local job fair that just so happens to take place in the high school Pam attended. Expect her to be there eventually and expect Roy or people that know/knew Roy to cause some tension there. 2) Jim, Andy, and Kevin are on the golf course trying to land the "biggest client ever". I am super excited about this group. It's never been done and after the recent connection between Andy and Kevin with the parking situation, this should be good. I hope they don't have another Jim is incompetent moment, I feel he should get excited about this (a la Office Olympics) and show how great of a salesman he is. Also, expect a PB&J moment towards the end where Jim fain proposes to Pam. This time however I think events at the Job Fair will cause Pam to get very upset leading into the finale.
Episode #66 "Goodbye Toby" (might not be the actual title) (FINALE!)
I don't want to speculate much about the Finale. So, I'll just give you what's up on Wikipedia and talk a little about that.
"It’s Toby’s goodbye party at Dunder Mifflin and Michael demands a huge celebration that matches the joy in his heart. Angela, sick of Michael’s unreasonable last minute demands, refuses, and Michael turns to Phyllis to take over the party planning committee. Meanwhile, Dwight and Meredith haze the new HR woman, Holly."

Finally! I've been calling for the Michael/Toby back story all season and if we don't get it here, I will literally scream. Also, if you thought last week's combinations of characters was different, look at the finale. Toby-Michael (classic), Angela-Michael-Phyllis (more short and old jokes), Dwight-Meredith (WOW, that's crazy). Also, you see who's names are not in the preview? Jim and Pam. This is what The Office does every finale. Make you think it's about a different plot line, when we all know what we're looking for.

Thoughts on "Night Out"
Hey All,
So i thought i'd share my thoughts on last week's ep:
-First off, my fave so far this season and kinda high up on my list in general...so much happened and i kept saying OMG!! and my mouth was just hanging wide open for some parts, it was pretty awesome, the only thing that could have made it more awesome would have been Mose partying it up with the guys in NYC...but i digress.
-Second, what is up with Jim screwing the pooch every single time he's put in charge? i guess they're making a point that Michael is honestly doing the best he can, and not even sexy, charismatic and seemingly more capable Jim could do better.
-Third, HOLY CRAP DWIGHT IS A PLAYA!!!! Check that sucka out man, i love how club chicks find his brand of paranoia and nerdiness irresistible. I don't think Angela appreciated the pic though...
-Fourth, wow, that Ryan stuff was heavy, the heaviest i think the Office has ever been. Meredith's alcoholism has been a running joke but it's been a joke...Ryan's cokeheadedness wasn't meant to be funny (and if it was someone needs to alert the writers it wasn't)and the fact that his cry for help was directed at Michael of all ppl proved it...i don't know where they're gonna go with that, but they better not ignore that storyline. I'm thinking it may be a way to get Ryan back to Scranton, Michael would rather have a disgraced Ryan than no Ryan at all, and honestly, so would I, douchebag-iness aside.
- Gotta say i'm loving the infusion of drama, drama that isn't JAM-centric, i was honestly quite worried the show would stagnate without the tension between the 2, but i think the show's pulling it off so far...
-So i guess Toby IS leaving (see previous post), i don't know how this is gonna work, i mean, Michael needs a nemesis and i don't know if anyone can fill Toby's sad sack place (except maybe Michael Cera...if you don't understand why, you need to watch the Arrested Development ep entitled Good Grief...). This really bothers me...
Overall, GREAT episode, i love when we get out of the Office and can watch the ppl in the "real world"...also Meredith getting hit with a football: PRICELESS!!
Let's hope the writers can keep it going!!

Tonight's Episode
Some bad news tonight blog-fans. Natascia has tickets to a hockey game tonight, I think it might be a play-off game, which would be sweet. I also have an opera production tomorrow, and my laptop's back light is not working. Therefore, there will be no liveblog tonight, sorry. However, tomorrow or later, we will have a wrap-up online.

Answering some pressing questions
After looking at what people were searching for when they came to our blog I've decided to answer the 2 pressing questions.
#1 Who is the actress who played the landlady?
Answer: Her name is Brooke Dillman. You probably know her from Blue Collar TV, but you might also recognize her from Nip/Tuck, Superbad, or I love the 80's.
#2 Why does Creed need 3 chairs?
Answer: Up to interpretation. I would love to hear what you guys think (post on comments). Here are some of my thoughts. Creed wants 3 chairs, one to sit on and one for each foot. Or, he's trying to fill out his dining set at home.

Hello all,
I t has been awhile hasn't it, but fear not i am here now and everything shall be peachy. We finall have a new poll champion, it was a hard fought battle, but Drug Testing has come out on top. I think it's because we all find Dwight too cute in his little uniform.
So, what did everyone think about last week's ep? I think Jan has lost all believability. She is a nutjob, and i don't think even Michael would stay with her, even if her hoo-has are glorious. Honestly, i think it's time for Michael to move on or for Jan to get her sh*t together...
This brings us to tonight's ep, from the commercial it ssems that Michael is moving on, but from the imdb profile the episode description is as follows:
Kevin and Andy team up to reclaim the stolen Dunder-Mifflin parking spaces, which forces them into a showdown with the other five bosses of the office park. Meanwhile, Michael becomes fascinated by a woman modeling chairs in a catalog.

I t has been awhile hasn't it, but fear not i am here now and everything shall be peachy. We finall have a new poll champion, it was a hard fought battle, but Drug Testing has come out on top. I think it's because we all find Dwight too cute in his little uniform.
So, what did everyone think about last week's ep? I think Jan has lost all believability. She is a nutjob, and i don't think even Michael would stay with her, even if her hoo-has are glorious. Honestly, i think it's time for Michael to move on or for Jan to get her sh*t together...
This brings us to tonight's ep, from the commercial it ssems that Michael is moving on, but from the imdb profile the episode description is as follows:
Kevin and Andy team up to reclaim the stolen Dunder-Mifflin parking spaces, which forces them into a showdown with the other five bosses of the office park. Meanwhile, Michael becomes fascinated by a woman modeling chairs in a catalog.

Dinner Party LiveBlog
Welcome everyone! It's just me, John, solo LiveBloggin' tonight for what many of the cast members have called an "instant classic". This episode will need to live up to all the hype and also, it will be fun to see how they shoot it so Angela's belly doesn't show. Ok, I'm going to inform you guys before the show that I live in "Tornado Alley". So we're having some storm cells move through. Anyway, if the show gets cut out because of the weather I will deliver some expletives and finish when the episode comes out on NBC.com, probably tomorrow.
Ouch, that hurts. Kenneth from 30 Rock went to my college, The University of Evansville (plug), and he just made a "music college" joke. I am offended sir. Ok, not really.

Ok, jump right into the house there, ok. Wow, already the tension between Jan and Pam. This will end in a fight. LOL the camera!!! Nice TV michael, seriously. Good hide there behind the wall and the flowers. LOL "when in Rome" perfect.
Oh no, Dwight's here with a date, and his date is the weird mom from Donnie Darko. BTW I would rather see Wicked than Stomp. Stomp was good though.
Crap, I don't know what happened, but I lost part of my blogging. Darn. Well we're after the second commercial break and when Jan revealed that Michael told her he dated Pam it was amazing. I literally yelled "Ha!" at least 7 times. Wonderful. Now that we have the big 4, tension between Jim, Pam, Michael, Angela, Jan, and Dwight, and alcohol, this will be a great finish.
Did Dwight bring his own food too, lol. Sorry, that ending was so perfect. Well done. I can only hope for maybe a nice close. Although I'm getting weather now, ugh. We know where everybody's love is at. Jim and Pam, Dwight and Michael, Angela tolerates Andy but I think he really likes her, and Jan is crazy as hell, but I think she just might be crazy in love with Michael. Now I must watch Scrubs.

It's like Christmas Eve in April
Yes everyone, tomorrow the Office returns with what appears to be one of the best show premises of the season. That's the great news. Now the bad news is that Natascia is amazingly brilliant and needs to work de-coding the human genome or something. (That's not really that far away from what she'll actually be doing) So like we are prone to do, I will carry the load in her absence, lord knows she's done it for me on many an occasion. LiveBloggin' will begin about 10 to 15 minutes before the show. I'll probably be finishing up watching 30 Rock and I might have some bonus opinions about that. I'll see you guys here at 9/8c, and I'm looking forward to having a great show.

An interesting little convo in the DMI message board for the branch I run between Natascia and me. I'll post more of us or whomever replies if it's good.
John: Is anybody here? A new episode is a month away and nobody's talkin' about it.
Natascia: Well, it's about the Jan and Michael Dinner party...now i thought maybe this might be just the PB&J and MAN double date, but how awesome would it be if it was an all office couples thing? Angela and Andy, Darryl and Kelly, PB&J, Stanley and his wife (Sherri?) and not to mention Dwight finding some random chick (maybe Meredith) just so he can go and get some Michael face time!!!
John: Yes, that would be awesome. However, I think I remember reading that Michael invites everyone from the office, but only Jim and Pam show up. I'm sure there will probably be a Dwight, Andy, and Angela side plot, but they probably won't show up to the party. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Angela is worked out of this episode some because on the pregnancy. I'm interested to see how they'll handle that.

I'm back!
Yes, all my loyal fans (thanks to the both of you) now that the writer's strike is done I can come back to the blog. First off, if you haven't yet, go to nbc.com and watch the second part of the now 2 part Dunder Mifflin Infinity episode for the new cold open. It's maybe the funniest one this season next to the bouncing DVD square. Also, while you're there watch the videos of Angela and Jenna, they're real cute. I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things!

Well i don't know where the ray went, maybe the lightbulb burnt
Hi all,
In a total 100% sweep, it seems that Jim's charitable karaoke singing with Michael at his house party in Email Surveillance touched everyone equally, with overflowing love and appreciation for terrible singing!
Well nobody really seems sure as to whether the negotiations are going well or are about to implode...not much progress has been made during this week's negotiation which is causing some WGA members to fear they will break down very soon. Other people are mainly thinking of the Oscars and are hopeful of ending the strike by mid-February. Either way, at least the studios are suffering, with veiwership down more than 15% at all major networks so maybe this will give them a kick in the pants to give the writer's any darn thing they may want, including the option of riding to work on an elephant...
This week's poll will begin a slow and arduous process of picking FAVORITE OFFICE EPISODE!!! I'm going with elimination, three eps at a time starting at the beginning of course. So let's get to it!!
